Item arrived quickly as expected. At first I was impressed with the compression method of the rings, but had a hard time figuring out how much "slack" the band had to give to allow the piston to be assembled. Move past the bottom of the compressor. After about 30 minutes of trying, I finally managed to install a piston. Upon inspection, I found that I had formed a burr on the bottom of the tool by over-tightening the tape. There are no instructions warning against overtightening the tape. Nothing to guide the use of this new style tool. No flashy tool design, but if you're expecting a beginner to work with it, at least give a little hint in the box. Since I had damaged the tooling, I went back to the old method and installed the remaining pistons the way I always did with a spring steel compressor. I think that's enough new "gadgets".
