Nice brushes! Soft hair!

To be honest, I have a weird obsession with brushes and always want to have them! I saw these and they looked so beautiful. Since they're so affordable I didn't have high hopes for them, but I found a bunch of affordable brush sets at Revain that were fantastic, so I wouldn't rule them out! They are not packaged as nicely as real brushes. They simply come in a sealed plastic bag. Inside they were wrapped in polyethylene. The big hands didn't have mesh covers to keep them in shape but they were ok so no big deal! I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these brushes feel! The handles are plastic but feel solid. What really struck me was the hair. They are sooo soft! And they are all trimmed nicely and evenly, and I haven't had a molt! At first I only intended to use them as decorations in my makeup area. But the hair was so beautiful I had to try it! They worked very well. I'm not against synthetic brushes, but some of them can feel very synthetic and never pick up product very well. These don't feel like it at all. The hair is so beautiful! And they absorb the product very well, are easy to apply and blend! There is also a good selection of brushes. They do not include anything with the brushes or on the product page that shows each brush, its name, or what it is used for. They are also unmarked. You only have a listing of the brushes included in the set on the product page. I don't mind that because I usually just use whatever brush size and shape works best for what I need. The brush list they provide on the product page includes powder brush, flat foundation brush, blush brush, angled contour brush, concealer brush, blending brush, angled eyeshadow brush, eyebrow brush, eyeliner brush, lip brush. Powder brush - the fluffiest brush in the set in my opinion. As for me, I prefer big and fluffy brushes for all powders. But it works well for eye powder, blush, and bronzer. Flat Foundation Brush - It is flat on the sides and rounded on top. I think it's a foundation brush. And I used it for the base and it worked fine. The blush brush is an interesting brush. On the one hand, it looks like a flat foundation brush. Then it looks like an angled contour brush on the other hand. Finally, on the other side, you can see that she is flat and her hair is cut at an angle. I try to show comparisons and tag them in my photos (I have 3 photos showing 3 brushes at different angles, then I have another photo showing the similarity between a blush brush and an angled contour brush). I think they look so similar from different angles which is why in some other reviews (well I remember seeing that in one) someone thought they had two of the same brushes. I really liked this for applying blush! Angled Contour Brush - I would use this for contours, blush and bronzer. Concealer Brush - Good for concealer, application over eyeshadow, blending and blending small areas. Blending brush - flat on each side. I have very small eyes with drooping eyelids. That's why I prefer smaller brushes. For me it's a bit big. But it works really well for blending out hard lines near the browbones and adding my transition shade. Angled eye shadow brush - is also a bit too big for me. But it's also good for shading sharp lines. The brow brush is just an ordinary angled brow brush. It's not too thick or thin so it works great. Eyeliner Brush - I think a short, densely packed brush is what they call an eyeliner brush. It works well for blending shadows on the lower lash line. The lip brush is a pencil brush for me. This works well for packing the color in the outer corner. I also like how small and precise the blending brush is. This is a cute little set. The brushes are beautiful. The hair is really soft. There is a good selection. If you are looking for a starter kit, this is a good choice.
