Smells best of poison in brush sets
The smell of these brushes straight out of the box is awful. Strong smell of chemicals/plastic. I decided to wash them before use and the black/purple residue came off the fluffy brush. Either it was used, or a dye is used very cheaply. For cleaning I used soap from Dr. Bronners used.
