After working for a while I can highly recommend this smart robot vacuum for the following reason: I've heard a lot of good reviews about the Neato D8 and after comparing all the robot vacuums out there, has the D8 gained a lot of sense for us. We had an older model from another brand and I wish I had switched to it a lot sooner! Some of the big things that drew me in were: the D shaped design which allows for a larger brush allowing the vacuum to do more in less time and having seen it in action it is very effective around the house quick to clean. Another thing is the LIDAR navigation, we have a toddler and a toddler so it's important for us to be able to set up zones so we really want a vacuum with it and this one had just that and works pretty well. Battery life and the ability to auto-charge don't seem like a big deal, but if you're on the go or busy outside all day and just want the vacuum to really clean the house, it helps A LOT. It's actually quite nice to hear him say "I'll charge, cleaning will continue later" and it actually works! Different cleaning modes. This is important for me in the home office because I can clean the vacuum cleaner while working in ECO mode. (almost a low whisper) and running it in turbo mode when we're not around, which compares it to our old robot, it's so noisy anyway. As for the app, it's VERY responsive and easy to use, we literally set up the vacuum setup in no time, it was almost shocking how quick and easy it was to set up. With two toddlers this item is a must have and my only regret is not getting it sooner, do yourself a favor and get one too!
