Easy Installation - Good Fit

I got this for our workshop. My husband installed it and had the following comments:Our workshop is cramped. Floor space is at a premium. And it seemed that I was always bumping into the trash can when I wasn't needing it. But every time I had something to put into it, it was always three steps away. Then I came across this under cabinet pull out trash can trolley. I think it is going to be a solution for my trash can woes. I mounted it on the shelf below my workshop project assembly table. Mounting it only required 4 screws (which are included in the package) into the shelf below it. It is adjustable and perfectly fit and securely holds my existing trash can.Chief among the features of this product is its full extension slides that makes it easy to get to the full top opening of the trash can . putting things into it, or pulling out a bag full of trash.Assembling this trolley required only two very simple steps. (!)The back support only needed to have its two legs inserted into holes on either side. And (2)the front brace only needed its two legs inserted into holes on either side and the upper loop slid down behind a bar tab on either side. But that is a weakness to its design: while easy to slip in, it is also easy to slip out. It needs a more secure attachment at this point. I think slightly crimping these two tabs against the front support will solve this problem, or perhaps just two zip ties will fix it.The main issue I have with this under cabinet trash can trolley is that the slide does not roll in and out as smoothly as I would like. It was very stiff at first and seems to be improving over time. (I'll have to take a closer look at it to determine why it seems to stick about halfway out.) Maybe it just needs some extra lubrication.Overall this is a good way to store and access your trash can without placing it out in the open . and I am glad to have it even if it needs a couple of minor fixes.UpdateMy husband is nicer and more patient than I am MUCH more! Until yesterday I had not actually used this trash can since my husband had installed it. This thing is terrible to use! My husband had to put a cable tie where the brace meets the front frame to keep it from collapsing while trying to close it BECAUSE it is so hard to push in. And trying to pull it out is just as difficult. About halfway out and also pushing it in it is like you run into a brick wall and it doesn’t want to budge. Oh man the design of this thing is so poor with the way the brace attaches to the front but I think the main problem is that the full extension slides bind at about half way going in or out. I don’t know how one half rolls decently but the the second half just doesn’t want to roll or even move at all. I don’t know what causes this. Did they paint this and get the rollers painted or what but they do not want to roll all the way.I have a pull out trash can built into my kitchen cabinet and I really like it. If I had this mess of a can installed in my kitchen I would tear it out in a heartbeat. Like I said my husband is more patient and he will probably tinker with this thing until he gets it working some better if that is even possible but I don’t think it is worthy of any more of his time and effort. I am being very generous in giving this thing even 2 stars.

I was so tired of having the step to open can, the motion activated cans, etc. plus they were in the middle of the room or corner, whatever and always dirty looking and always overfilled. The cabinet we put this in we can’t use a taller can so we got a bit smaller one but this works great! It was easy to install. It rolls in and out very easy. Holds the can very tight. Leaves me more room in my kitchen. If you’re interested in roll out can assembly get this now!
