I first heard this speaker at a friend's house in Norway. I couldn't believe that such a small speaker (about the size of an iPhone but three times the thickness) could produce such rich, room-filling sound. When I came back to the US I bought it. The sound was exactly as I remembered it and I loved it. Until the battery indicator started beeping 30 minutes of playtime. It was fully charged! And the speaker died due to low battery after just 45 minutes of playback, a full five hours less than advertised. This makes it incompatible with things like day trips, picnics, etc. and just plain annoying for home use as it takes time to charge. So I'm giving two stars for design and sound, but I'll be returning it. Very disappointed.
