I don't like to call myself an artist, but I have been drawing for several years. I was in a bind, low on money and short on paint, so I ordered them for a total of $5.00. I opened the blue one because it was a color I really wanted and when I pierced the top of the tube and started squeezing out some of the blue color nothing came out but a mixture and it spilled all over the place. I even tried shaking the tube (which I never had to do with other colors) and the mixed solution kept pouring out. Finally, when the tube was half empty, blue paint began to flow out. The paint won't get far on its own, but in combination with higher-quality paints it turns out quite nice. I think it's like with a guitar player, a real guitar player can play no matter how bad the guitar or the strings are, a real artist can paint no matter how bad the paint or the brush is. Namaste.
