I don't write many reviews but this is amazing. I bought this brush for my German Shepherd/Rescue Dog. He is almost 7 years old and has never liked being brushed. Probably because he had hip surgery at a young age. It's a big fight every year when he rips his coat off. I have to fight and fight him for every moment full of trauma. Then give him ALL the treats. I took this brush out of the box and he was definitely skeptical (as was I) because we almost all have brushes. He actually lay down and let me clean it. He's still not stretching his hind legs, but WOW! This brush did an excellent job of removing the top layers of hair and my dog didn't fight the entire time. Definitely a win!
