The balls are not perfectly round so I wouldn't use them for racing but they don't sell that way. Only one marble out of the six ponds I bought looked a bit odd. Given that these are vase fillers, I think they're great. The color is correct; I was concerned that the actual product looked faded compared to the photo, but I was very surprised at how good they look. I made a little project out of a pencil holder and washer to create a lighted container (with lots of airflow) for my air plant and these spheres look great in it.
