Update June 30, 2019: I have used this and a fine sponge since the original review. I can't say I've missed clay since I switched to these alternative products. They're great for removing stains and when used as part of a thorough decontamination process I haven't noticed anything they don't remove like regular clay. I still recommend them but just for efficiency, if I had to go back I'd probably just go with one of the towels or the disc and handpiece. The sponges just felt like they weren't covering enough ground. I really need more experience with it before recommending it over traditional clay. It seems to be doing its job well and I appreciate the fact that I can wash it off if I drop it, but there's something to it that I can't imagine removing the paint. white material so you can see what you are removing.
