Review on 🍳 Presto 07061 22-inch Electric Griddle With Detachable Handles, Black, Large 22-inch Surface by Joe Patterson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's good. Worth the price.

It's roomy and cooks fairly evenly, although the right side seems hotter than the left. I prefer my old model for two reasons, but the finish on it was too scratched to use. more. The first reason I like the old model better is that this model does not have a plastic rim to protect the surrounding area or body parts from accidental contact. And I accidentally rubbed it several times and burned myself. My old model had a drain area on 3 of the 4 sides and the back was the only open area. The second reason I like my old model is that the drain pan was longer and narrower, which didn't seem to matter, but it did. This one is wide and flat, meaning it tips over easily. Am I attacking? Possibly, but this is an issue I've had before, so I thought it was worth mentioning. I thought the surface would be harder to clean since it's ribbed, but so far so good. I have a feeling this might be important later. The thermostat plug fits snugly which is a big improvement over my old model where the plug fell out. If only Presto made an adjustable leg so you could have a drain to the front if you wanted. It would be magical. Therefore the device is level and you have to tilt it to remove more fat from the top. Since I can cook a whole bag of bacon on it, I'm satisfied. But I will still use a pancake pan.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Something different
