This unit works fine but has no power switch. My truck's outlet stays on all the time. This transmitter doesn't draw enough power to drain the battery if left on all the time, but when I walk to the side of the house by the garage my phone connects to the truck's bluetooth. So my options are: 1) Disable Bluetooth on my phone when I'm at home, which disconnects it from other Bluetooth devices like my watch. 2) Disconnect the transmitter when I exit the truck. Which wears out the shaft unnecessarily and hurts. 3) Buy a power supply with a switch. It works fine, but it's an expense that shouldn't have been necessary. This effectively doubled the station's cost to add something that needed to be included. If your car socket doesn't stay on when the car is off, or you don't care that the device is on all the time, then this device works well. But if you need a power switch, it's not worth it because you have to buy an adapter with a switch, which not only increases the cost but also adds more stuff sticking out of the outlet. In general, the device works well, but the lack of a simple power button is its disadvantage.
