I bought this for a bathroom renovation although I wasn't really sure how the 'swing arm' works when ordering. Now I like this feature the most. So one side of the middle bar just lifts up to put on the TP reel, what a simple but brilliant idea. No more "pull pole" effect and thus no more pole shooting at the ground when you miss! It couldn't have gone smoother as the pole stops when it hits the medallion again and comes back down. I plan to buy two more. I also have a matching Voss faucet and towel ring which are fantastic too. Just make sure that your holder is now attached to the cabinet, that you mount it far enough for the arm to swing up, and that there is enough room to place the TP on it without smashing the counter/sink overlapped and in the way. But of course if it's mounted on the wall like I did, that's not a problem. A great idea. You will like it.
