Review on CTA Tools 1250 Brake Bleeding Kit for One-Man Operation by Charles Quinones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best tool ever. 1 person op.

When you get this, don't be surprised by the size of the bottle. It's about the size of a bottle of Tylenol. But in my 2015 JK Jeep it takes 5 pumps to fill it up which is more than enough. It is very easy to use and you don't need 2 people to bleed the brakes. Disclosure: Be sure to follow your car's owner's manual when working on your brakes. Every car can be different. You connect the magnet and long tubing to the bottle and the conical tip to the other end of the tubing. The package says to hold the bottle over the bleeder, but that doesn't matter. Wherever you can stick a magnet, that's fine. Bleed the brake until firm, then attach a bottle to the bleeder and a conical tip to the bleeder, open the valve, sit in the driver's seat and bleed the brake a few times, checking how many strokes it takes. to fill the bottle. (If there is too much air in the system, you may not see any oil coming out for a while, so repeat the process). When the reservoir is almost full or after 3-4 brake hits, get under the car and close the bleed valve. After each cycle, check the oil level in the master cylinder, top up and do not allow it to drop too low. Repeat this process in the following order. Bleed sequence: 1. Rear passenger 2. Rear driver 3. Front passenger 4. Front driver. , there is a light breeze. Much luck
