Review on 🎢 Reviving Nostalgia: Sony Discman D-151 CD Player - Unleashing Crisp Audio Delight! by Peter Sullivan

Surprisingly Good Sound - Hello from 1997

This unit/model did not previously have anti-skip protection so be aware that shock and vibration will cause it to skip slightly. I was pleased to find that this model had a good volume range, so the efficient headphones weren't left without a decent amount of adjustment, nor were the harsh models left out. I've tested this with headphones from 20 ohms to 300 ohms, with numbers in between. The design is mostly plastic and without much gasket. This means that pressure on the disc player case can warp the disc stored inside. I found these myself. So don't keep your player in a backpack with a CD in it. Even if it's only once. The second problem has to do with the lack of sealing, which makes it easy for dust to get inside. This is an old model so I bought it mostly out of nostalgia. The sound quality of this device isn't ridiculous, although it was rather "budget" for its time.
