The product page shows that this mirror mounts on both the right and left of the handlebars, but actually only for the right side. Like most people, I need a mirror on my left so I can see traffic behind me. I really have no reason to put the mirror on the right. I figured based on the design that I could turn the mirror arm upside down and attach it on the other side, but the connections on each end of the arm are completely different. I went ahead and attached it on the left, but the curvature of the arm goes to the center and it's impossible to adjust the mirror so I can see the movement behind me on the left. So basically useless for me. On the other hand, if for some reason you need a mirror on the right side, this is a nice design and looks a lot less silly than most mirrors.
