Review on Ultra-Soft Women'S High Waisted Leggings - Full Length, Capri, And Shorts - Regular And Plus Sizes - 3 Inches Inseam by Michael Mayes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice longer-length capris (not really solid enough for workout wear, to my mind)

(Note: I ordered Navy, but appear to have received Mulberry. The package was labeled "navy", so it was some kind of a warehouse error. I decided to keep them anyway, although ebay would have accepted the return/exchange.)I have been buying this sort of leggings more and more recently, to wear with summer and fall/spring dresses. The other pairs I have are from LeggingsDepot. By "this sort of leggings", I mean that they are lightweight for leggings. I would not wear these to work out in. But I think that's part of what makes them nicer for streetwear, that they are thinner/sleeker. "This sort of leggings" are made of very very stretchy material, stretchier than my tights, but more opaque. Because they're very stretchy, they don't need as many different sizes.Although I've been happy with the quality of the LeggingsDepot leggings and capris I have, I was disappointed with the length of the capris. I'm tall (5'10", with a 35" inseam), and the LeggingsDepot capris hit me right at the knee, which I don't care for. These Conceited capris hit several inches below the knee, which I think is more flattering on me.I am not a huge fan of the elastic at the top of the waist of these, which does seem to dig in a little bit. (There's a narrow -- like 1/4" -- piece of elastic attached with zigzag stitching on the inside top edge of these.)I think these run a bit smaller than the LeggingsDepot sizes, FWIW. I am in the middle of the size range here, but they might be uncomfortably tight if you're on the upper end of the range.

Pros
  • The fabric is nice to touchHowever I wear size 6-8 pants and is a bit loose.
Cons
  • The ultra-soft material may be too delicate and prone to ripping or snagging
