- 24" long, center back - Sleeves approx. 15" below armpits, elasticated cuffs - Attached hood, lined with regular smooth fabric. No closure (rises above the chin) - Made in China, hanger loop, no tag - Front zip is water-resistant - Machine wash cold separately, gentle, without chlorine bleach when needed. Dry low, let dry completely. Ironing cool - Seams look nice, sort of - see details - 2 fabrics, one is water permeable and the other is a dense sponge fabric - no stretch - breathable panels are 3 inches wide under arms and 5 inches wide on sides - zip pockets on each Side, I doubt a large phone will fit in - No down jacket but plenty of air to compress fairly well if needed. The outer body is water repellent with a very light texture (looks nice). Inside the main body is the usual smooth stuff. The breathing sections on the arms and sides have a spongy feel, like neoprene, but stretchy and when stretched you can see through them a bit to help them breathe. The inside of this fabric is fleece, so it's pretty soft. It is not positioned as a raincoat, but protects well from rain, except for breathable parts, of course. It's very different from what I've seen before and I've been told it's quite comfortable. The high chin and elastic cuffs keep the wind out. Pay attention to one thing if it is important to you. The firmware is well done, but there is a lot of internal filler in it. Doesn't fall or stretch so I don't mind. The filling seems more like whipping to me. I would be surprised if it survived the machine wash on the gentle cycle and didn't clump.
