Halo Swivel Feature has serial defects

Most of these reviews seem distorted (5 stars despite terrible defects?) so I'll write the real one. I've had this carrycot for over a year now. Month. I've read about some tilt issues, but I checked the Halo website and it said the bassinet might look more tilted than it actually is due to the walls, but it's ultimately a safe sleeper. Other reviews stated that the tilt was user error. I received the cradle and placed it in a high position. There was some tilt, and sure enough, when I woke up, my baby was being pinned against the edge of the bassinet (thankfully the mesh walls are breathable). I adjusted the height of the carrycot a lot less, making sure to position it to minimize tilt. This worked until the end of the month. But now my premature baby "wakes up” and moves a lot more. In the morning it lands either on one side or the other depending on how the vortex is positioned (no, it's not just tilted towards the shorter wall). It wasn't too extreme so I wasn't concerned about it to this day as he pressed his legs against one of the tighter sides and his diaper puckered around his face. Needless to say, I am so thankful that I have an owl and that he woke me up while doing it. I am grateful that this cradle has a generous returns policy as I will definitely be returning it. The pivoting technology appears to have a fatal flaw, meaning the baby will slide to one side or the other if not perfectly balanced. I gave it two stars because I like being able to adjust the height and I like the mesh sides.
