It arrived with a crack in one of the shelves, raw bamboo pieces sticking out and some dents and uneven/unfinished areas. Shelves unevenly smooth (wear gloves to avoid splinters). The only good thing is that it took 20 minutes to install (18 screws total) and when installed and the damaged shelf glued (hidden) under the shelf it looks decent and does what it's supposed to. . However, it's not strong and easily tips over - I wouldn't buy it if you have toddlers. For another $20, you can get a better quality wood shelf of the same size from Target. I wanted to save money and wish I didn't have to, and I didn't want to mess around with returns because it wasn't worth the hassle.
