Review on Spot SPOT TRACE 01 Trace Orange Small by Jerry Mangum

I have been using this spot device for two years. For some reason, every time it rains, the device notifies me that it's moving. Spot is in a safe, dry place, but the weather seems to be confusing him. The first year of service is $99. For the second year, Spot automatically renewed my service without notifying me. They were somehow able to charge an expired credit card that I had on file. The joke is that the New Year's service was billed at $164. Spot recently emailed users notifying them that they would be adding a new "network fee" of $24.99 per year to all accounts, bringing my single Spot subscription to almost $200 per year . I signed up to cancel my service before they automatically billed my 3rd year only to find out you MUST call them on the phone to cancel. The inconvenience of having to request service changes that can easily be made online, as well as the ever-increasing prices, has made me caution others about this device and service until they are more responsive and can adjust the prices.
