Review on SE RA91212S Sanding Rubber Mandrels by Tom Roberts

Working on dog claws

I've hardly found a pack of just grinders. Most packages seem to come with a variety of attachments and sanding belts. I have everything. All I needed was *this*. It comes with a pair of mounts that are both convenient and stylish. My dog and I prefer to dremel his grizzly-sized claws to pinch him. His nails are growing insanely fast and I don't want to spend $15 every 3 weeks to keep them in order. I've also found that I get better results faster if I use a new sanding belt each time. Hence the search for a large package. There were 4 grains. So far I've used a medium-coarse grit and haven't had to use a finer grit to avoid chipping and snagging. Everything is good there so far. The band is tight on and off even after loosening the top screw which I tightened after installation to compress the rubber on the bit and hold the band tighter. But everything worked and there was no damage. It's also the first sanding belt I've used that hasn't tried to come loose from the bar, so thanks for that! The sandpaper surface even looked like it could be sanded with Mr. Grizzly's fingers after spa marathon day. (A gap of 2 months and it slipped on the hard floor. Bad.) I use fresh ones anyway because who knows what dirt was in those peeling nails. Good quality, good quantity, good price, no unnecessary parts. Works the same or better than my branded parts. Many Thanks. Highly recommended.
