Read all reviews about paint peeling off cat's face. but I wanted to try it as it was the perfect size for my cats. Well I've only started using 1 of the 3 bowls ordered because I wanted to see if the blue cat face paint would flake off with very light maintenance. Even after it was very tender, the color started to come out. Having already used this on a cat with immune issues I'm pretty sure I didn't need any further issues. I used nail polish remover on the first bowl. I have learned that the remover (enough to cover a blue face) should be left on the face for a few minutes then the color will come off very easily. Just use a cotton swab and your fingernail to loosen the paint. very easily removed. Remember to wash the bowl very well before use. The bowl would be perfect without the blue cat face and I don't know why that blue face paint is perfectly sized on this bowl in the first place. I now have 3 perfect bowls with no blue cat paint and my cats love them.
