Fashionable and functional

Bought in Black Bear for my 7 month old daughter and they are perfect! I ordered size 6-12 months and they fit her well. Sure, they were a little big to start with, but I always put them on her with socks and we've never had any trouble keeping them on our feet (unless she puts them on, which of course always happens). I have two complaints: first, the non-slip traction pieces on the sole of the shoe don't seem to grip very well, so I think she'll have a hard time on hardwood once she starts walking alone. ; and secondly, wool tends to fall out a bit - not so much that hair is all over the place, but when my daughter puts slippers in her mouth (like babies usually do), sometimes she develops small black hairs around her mouth. Shedding seems to be less after washing (I've put them in the washing machine on gentle cycle and lined them up to dry and they've held up great) but she still gets a few sheds if she manages to slip on a slipper. Mouth. Overall, these slippers are absolutely adorable (we've gotten lots of compliments!) and they seem to keep their feet warm in the winter. She probably wore them more than any other shoe this season. So pretty! These slippers are absolutely adorable (we got a lot of compliments!) and they seem to keep her feet warm in winter.
