Review on 🍷 Lion Brand Hometown Yarn 135-148E - Portland Wine (1 Skein) by Karla Richter

I am new to crocheting and had no idea how thick this yarn was going to be. I've only had one hook up to 8mm and I recommended 9mm so this could be user error as there is no proper tool available. However, the yarn broke at the ends, kept snagging on the needle and made me scream in frustration as I had to repeat countless stitches because it kept snagging or snapping. Let me tell you the color is amazing! This is a heavy and soft knit and knits up quickly despite my issues due to the size of the yarn. Too bad you could only buy 4 skeins as it took almost two to make a very thin tiny blanket which I decided to give to the cats rather than unravel them. I think I could make a scarf with the skeins I have left over, but I was hoping for a small blanket.
