Review on Lipikar Balm AP+ Intense Repair Body Lotion by La Roche-Posay: Shea Butter & Niacinamide Cream. Moisturizer for Dry and Rough Skin, Safe for Sensitive Skin. by Aries Gregg

I have recently been suffering from dry, scaly elbows and itchy skin from using Jergens Lotion. After using their Toleriane Ultra Eye Cream and seeing positive results, I decided to try their Intense Repair Body Cream. The morning after I applied this lotion the night before my whole body was smooth including my elbows! I've been using this product for several days and my skin has only gotten better thanks to its moisturizing formula. I should also mention that I suffer from keratosis follicularis and this lotion really smooths out any rough bumps I have on my hands. and legs. I've used Cerave Rough and Bumpy Lotion and Gold Bond Rough and Bumpy Cream before, but they really don't compare to this lotion. Not to mention I couldn't stand the chemical scent of Cerave and Gold Bond for rough and uneven skin and stopped using them as they were strong smelling and very sticky. To be honest, this lotion doesn't really smell chemical. I know other reviewers have mentioned that it stinks but that is very weak compared to the Cerave and Gold Bond Rough and Bumpy lotion/cream which make you vomit and leave a sticky feeling on the skin. Consistency, you can expect it to be very rich and creamy. It really works wonders, especially if you use it right after you shower and before bed. You might feel like it's sticky but to be honest it absorbs well into the skin so the sticky feeling goes away over time! If anything, it leaves your skin more hydrated and revitalized. Luckily it really helped heal my dry skin and smoothed out my CP. I am very happy using this product and would definitely recommend it, especially for those suffering from CP.
