There are many reports that this item cannot be returned in the round bag. This requires some strength, but is doable. Once you've folded the softbox into a triangular shape, grab the corner above the word "Beginner" and the middle of the long side opposite where you grabbed the corner. Then rotate in opposite directions. That's all. No magic tricks. I just got mine in the mail today. So if it wears out over time or I have other issues I'll update this review. Right now this is exactly what I need for backpacking portrait photography when traveling.
