Yes, everything works with the latest firmware v9. But the problem is in the firmware itself, and not in this splitter. I have a Nomad wireless charger in my Model 3. The left one plugs directly into the left USB port. I use this splitter on the right side. The Nomad just plugs into the power supply and the flash drive that I split in 2 (FAT32) for the built in DVR and USB music plugs into the data/power port. Both work perfectly and my phone charges on the tablet as well. Now we have to wait for Tesla to fix the drive corruption issues. It's a whole different story. UPDATE 6/11/18 With firmware 42.4 on my Tesla Model 3, dash cam recording/music via USB now works great. No more TeslaCam partition corruption and the drive now mounts every time the car is turned on.
