When I first started using it I had many problems with the mandrel getting stuck in this riveting tool and the only thing that could work , was to pull out the thorn . After a few spikes got stuck inside, I tried taking it apart and loosening the inside as shown in their video, but the problems persisted. to the next nose size (3/32" or 2.4 mm to 1/8"). After that, I had no more spinal jams. Most of them were thrown out at the end of the cycle, and the few that didn't come out came out with a slight shake of the rivet gun. For occasional rivet setting, this tool is good value if you can get it to push the mandrels out properly. Someone who uses all the time might want to go for the more expensive option, which costs 5-10 times more, and if you only need to install a few smaller rivets, a hand tool might be a better option.
