This coat is perfect for our four-legged companion. It even offers enough slack for us to adjust how tight or loose it fits. Although he hasn't jumped in the water yet, the handle is almost in the perfect position to pick him up. Since he still wears a walking harness most of the time and the life jacket comes with a hook, we can easily switch the leash from the harness to the life jacket if needed. Not once does the vest itself seem to cause him any discomfort. Even though it's a bit chunkier, he can still wear it with ease. Some of the other types I've tested are really bulky and uncomfortable, limiting the dog's movements while wearing them.
