I bought because my current remote control didn't work to block the buttons on my Ford Focus 5. The button was soft when pressed. I was able to take the rubber buttons off the new remote and put them in my old remote and it works great. Pros: Rubber buttons with metal tags fit my old remote and it works. Bad: The blank key is a different size than my key. Neither the blank key nor my key would be blocked in the new remote control. I tried using the top half of the remote with buttons and a glossy finish, but the key ring didn't get through. Opening. So I disassembled and reassembled 2-3 times.
