These are a good price for a fake Dyson part but they don't last as long as the branded version. This is the second hose I've had to buy in two and a half years (the original hose lasted 8 years) so it would probably be better to just buy it from Dyson. Over time, holes will form in the folds of the hose and eventually the dirt will eject and hit you in the face, which isn't exactly comfortable when you're already doing some nasty work. But I'm mean, so I'm willing to ignore it, and there's nothing that can be taped to fix until you're willing to give up and buy another hose.
