I don't usually write reviews but these towels are terrible. They have good thickness and softness. For the money they were a good buy though. They don't tell you that you can only buy one set. You discover this the week before Christmas when you want 2 sets for your daughter's new house and it turns out there is a set limit and you need someone to buy another set for you. So you get both sets, but they are not the same color as blue. Told her we would buy some more towels to go with it and when they were on the shelf in her bathroom they would look like she had different shades of blue planned. Told her to wash them before use. Here's the good part! They are still 2 different shades of blue but much brighter now! Big! She then sends me a photo of a lint filter from her dryer. It was completely filled! She's got one of those long ones! It's amazing the fire didn't break out! Since it was so busy, I told her they probably had to stop by a bit more. On a simple heap of air. without heat. she has so much fluff again! Now her new towels, washed only once, were falling apart. Not wanting to bother returning towels that had already been washed, I now had to inspect and hand sew each towel! Brand new towels, and here I am sewing the ends together! Let me just mention the embarrassment in front of my daughter. Give her a present with all these problems. I wouldn't recommend them as a gift to anyone. too ashamed! If you don't mind the color change, for the price, ignore how much fiber and fluffiness you left on the lint filter and you'll have time to sew up almost all of those frayed edges. Set of towels for money.
