Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Reebok Work RB4041: The Ultimate Industrial Construction Footwear by Timothy Bobbert

Suitable for Unbound: Work & Utility

So far these are good shoes but a couple of imperfections really make them worse for me. The laces are made of nylon or another material with a smooth surface that is constantly being untied. I walk a lot for work and these laces get untied every three to 12 minutes. Stopping and tying my shoelaces fifty times a day drives me insane. One might think that Reebok's lace technology, which provides enough friction not to be untied four times an hour, would be a solved problem by this point, but Reebok's lace technology seems stuck in the 1950s. Yes, I tried double knitting but they still came undone. These laces are not capable of holding a knot. I threw away the laces that came with these shoes and bought regular cloth laces that I might have to retie every other day at work. For me, this easy-to-solve problem is worth a star and a half. Another half star deduction is for the insoles. They are thin and have useless buds that together do nothing. I bought some secondary insoles that work much better. Overall, buying better laces and insoles makes these shoes great, but these two issues shouldn't have been addressed from the start.

Cons
