Not terrible, certainly not great. It's a cheap backup and nothing more.

So far it hasn't been that bad. Yes it's cheap and you get what you pay for. Increasing the voltage puts things into a shutdown state, which doesn't make me happy, but it's only for a few seconds, so it might be ok. It would be much better for me to have BOTH displays up so I can see them better. I don't see the battery indicator when installed. But it could be for the best. This shows a voltage much lower than what the system currently has. Every other element on our 12v side is 12.5 which means 11.9. And while I understand it's cheap and they probably haven't bothered to set the calibration, it does affect the shutdown. It shouldn't trip at 11.2 volts. This effectively prevents me from using most of my options. Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to calibrate this to make it work properly. The instructions were rubbish and didn't really give much information, not even how to change the fuses. I see it later as a headache. But for emergency backups, I think it's worth what I paid. If you plan on standalone or long-term use, find a good pure sine wave inverter/charger (targeted here at Revain) and don't waste your time using it as the primary device. If you just want a cheap backup, this should work for a while.
