ugly but comfortable

they don't look good, especially on the toes, but they fit well and most importantly are comfortable. I don't buy the 10/20/30 part, they are almost the same in all areas of my leg/ankle/upper foot, and I know the foot and ankle part isn't 30mmHg because I have ankle compression stockings that really do are tight like they should be for 30. IMO these "long" compression socks are 15cm/micron at best if you hit mid-calf size like me (my calf is 12.5 and my shoe size is 6.5-7). those with big feet/calfs get 20 at best. Since I need long compression socks for home use that don't suffocate me like 20-30, this 10-15 is perfect for that. I have chosen long and short toeless compression socks but I don't like the seam at the bottom so I decided to try these and I really like them a lot more because the toe area on them is bulky which allows your toes to breathe instead of down to feel restricted .recommended, not thin and the material looks like men's socks to me. Also, in my quest for good real compression stockings, I'm learning that sometimes, for real compression, it's better to go down a size. Compression socks 30mmHg (assuming you still fall under the listed shoe size of 10.5, which for me should mean 9 or less depending on how they fit my max 7 foot sizes). available in individual sizes instead of combined.
