Very thick padding which makes the seat very comfortable. It was quick and easy to install. However, the rear seat covers do not fully fit my Jeep Wrangler seats. I should have looked into this a little more carefully before ordering. It's up to me! It's hard to find a Jeep Wrangler with brown seats, which is why I wanted them. I love how they light up the lights in my jeep. They give my jeep a nice fresh look. I have a dog seat on the passenger side. Fits great with seat covers too and in place. Both of my dogs are blonde so these covers should help hide the fur and make wiping the seat easier. The underside of these covers is a fabric that hugs my seat and helps keep them in place when getting in and out. I've been in and out of mine many times and the covers have yet to budge. I never have to adjust them. They are very comfortable and make the seat look like new again, if not better. I have had many other car seat covers throughout my life and none of them can match the quality, thickness, comfort and these easy to clean car seat covers.
