It could be a little bigger and doesn't create as much soapy bubbles. But feels soft on the skin and seems to clean as good as a loofah. It might be easier to hold if it had an elastic band. That could flip from one side to the other, depending on which side you needed to use. Otherwise I think it works great and seems to be as good or better than a loofah.
