Updated rating: My original rating was 5 stars. But it's been a few months since I started using it and now I hate it. I washed it weekly on a mild cold cycle with Tide detergent. The problem is that the shower cap started smelling "musty" the second time it was used each week. The strong smell drove me crazy! So rude and annoying. I've found good quality disposable shower caps ($2.95 for 15) at CVS that can handle my long hair and I'm happy again. I wash cold/gentle sometimes. This shower cap is an affordable luxury. I'm giving it four stars because I've only had it a few months.
