I wanted to be able to use my phone to zoom in on small details, like photographing butterflies or taking close-up photos of flowers, which my phone doesn't have enough zoom for. Not this lens. It's more like a microscope. It has a light source and a very short focal length, so the lens should almost touch what you want to photograph. It can capture beautiful images of individual hairs, tiny fibers, grains of salt and the like. Colored and regular lights add interesting effects when shooting your super small things. It doesn't work as a zoom lens at all. It's easy to use and works with many different phones.
