I love or hate these spacers. I bought these for my 2004 Acura TSX when one of my front door speakers failed. The good news is that they fit in the door panel very snugly, even more securely than standard speakers. The bad news is that they don't fit 6.5-inch speakers as advertised. I know how to use a Dremel and tried to modify one of these, but quickly realized that it was just physically impossible to do so. Door so much that I ended up buying a set of 5.25 inch speakers that matched well. My recommendation (particularly if you are installing in an Acura TSX or Honda Accord) would be to buy these and a set of 5.25" speakers and they will install and maintain a factory fit. Alternatively, you can buy (or make) a regular gasket and use 6.5" speakers, although you'll have to drill new mounting holes in the door panel. It's just a matter of choosing the OEM fit versus the OEM size of the speaker.
