Review on 🐱 White Villa PETKIT Cat Litter Box with Litter Scoop, Low Entry, LED Light, Ventilation - Ideal for Cats Under 18lbs by Melissa Davis

I hated the price but was otherwise very happy to find a decent looking litter box that was easy to maintain with my physical limitations. But alas, neither I nor my kitten came up. It's definitely a more attractive tray that has both an access door and cleaning light, ventilation to reduce odors (and odor removal with an optional battery filter), and a slotted exit in the base to reduce debris on the tracks. But here are the downsides after trying it: The box is more or less a top and bottom piece when assembled, but those two pieces don't snap together, and it's VERY heavy when filled with debris, making it very difficult , to move. It's needed for purification, so it's tough. As mentioned the slotted base as an extension of the litter box is not suitable for storage but that wasn't a problem for me as I will not be storing anything there as it is a litter box. The brush didn't live to see its opening day as it looks like a small hair coloring brush. No big deal, I just use my regular small pen and/or full cat broom. The kicker for me was the kitty entrance because it's narrow and looks like it doesn't lead anywhere. The cat should make a sharp turn to the right in the completely opposite direction. I also don't think much light comes in through the narrow entry/exit because the cat seemed to think it was locked when placed in the litter box with the door closed...and just pushed the door open to get around to get there . :( Eventually he could be persuaded to go through the narrow exit. After that we had a big cleaning. Now we just have to leave the door open for him to use because it slides towards the slatted floor. I liked the concept , but it didn't work for us at all, I tried to get it back but missed the window for a day :(
