I took this brand new hammock on a hike last weekend. It was a complete disaster. My 11 year old daughter and her friend rocked inside. After about 10 minutes, a strap broke and they fell to the ground. Her friend hit her hard on the head and I have to apologize to her parents. The belt (see photo) appears to be damaged from friction. My friend has a hammock and after 2 hours of swinging still no problem. This product claims to hold up to 300 pounds but that claim can only be true when lying still indoors and not for kids who like to rock out. Strongly not recommended for use by children.
