I ordered 110 Firewall/VPN to replace USG 50 which I have been using for 5 years. My internet service has increased from 50 Mb to 250 Mb during this time. My service provider replaced my modem with a DOCSIS 3 modem and I checked the throughput on a directly connected PC. The direct attached PC was 280MB, and via USG50 I got less than 50. Disabling ADP increased the throughput to 75MB. So I ordered this box which advertised 1.6GB through the firewall. The Zyxel website seems to offer a configuration conversion service from USG 50 to 110, but it really only works for the USG 110. I've never been able to figure out the difference between the two boxes, but the USG 110 costs about $50 more. I was able to tune the 110 by manually copying the settings from the USG50. Which was good because I removed a lot of settings that are no longer needed. I was satisfied with the performance of the box. It shows a throughput of 280 MB with ADP enabled and only uses 25% of the CPU during the Speedtest.net test. This device is probably overkill for personal use, but I don't work from home and need the device to connect the VPN to my corporate network. Network. I also have IP phones and an IP PBX running behind them. All of this just works. I don't use service provider routers as I need much better control. I also use advanced features like VLANs. I also have a lot of IoT and typically >60 IP connected active devices (smart switches, TVs, phones, desks, in addition to computers and laptops).
