In mission-critical applications, it's worth every penny you pay for it.
If you have a threaded pipe that cannot leak, buy this tape. I've used it with jet fuel and diesel fuel for years, and it's the only one I'll be using anymore. everything else flows without pressure, and this fabric withstands the pressure even when not tightened with a wrench.
