Due to a recent foot problem I am unable to shower regularly. Like most savvy buyers, I always read customer reviews. I never use the product this way and was worried about how well it would work; if it left a burning sensation, as some people say. I followed the directions on the box which are pretty simple, I microwaved it for about 30 seconds which was probably 10 seconds too long but I let it cool before using. You put on a shower cap and simply rub the liquid chemical into your scalp. Have a towel handy to wipe it off if it gets outside the hood. As the instructions say, I did this for about 2-3 minutes and surprisingly my hair is like I washed myself in the shower. I think the problem with people leaving negative comments is that they are not following the instructions on the product. I will say if for some reason you can't wash your hair in the shower this is a great substitute.
