Came in a black box perfect for packing, inside was wrapped in plastic then tissue paper over a leather wallet. It's definitely leather, so don't worry! I bought it in blue and it was the same as it appeared on the web. Has a SILVER zipper, some previous pictures had a gold zipper, silver is better! I have 11 cards in RFID sleeves. I tried to add more but it was very difficult to close without breaking the zipper. Either way, all you have to do is keep your debit and credit cards under the protection of your sleeves to keep business from breaking. There are four other "outside" pockets for membership/club cards etc. The coin purse part needed to be covered to keep the dimes from slipping out and I had to do that but that can happen. Nickels and quarters should be safe. However, I put a wallet in my purse and I close it with no problem. I keep most of my club cards in the same branch. All in all this is a beautifully made wallet that allows me to use it alone or in my small wallet with ease! I recommend this to anyone looking for a well-made LEATHER, RFID protection, and small wallet case! I'm thinking of buying a few more for my MIL and SIL! Maybe even a husband? The photo shows more details, with a pencil you can see that there is a gap in the wallet, but not a big one.
