Review on Auto Meter 2174 Autogage Pressure by Jeremy Mondragon

Not very good at sensors

This seems to be a very good sensor. I installed it under the hood. The manometer is filled with glycerin or something else to keep the needle from vibrating. About a week after installation, I noticed that the rubber stopper covering the glycerin was actually being sucked into the meter. The cork was almost all the way in so I decided to pry it out with pliers. I grabbed it and the cork just pulled out while most of it stayed in the sensor. I tried to get him out with a scribe and that was the last straw for him. The scribe simply pushed it out of sight on the other side of the scale. Now the arrow is far from 0 so I removed the sensor and threw it away. I am very disappointed in the Autometer and have had issues with their other gauges. I would not recommend buying this product.
