I just received this. First, there was no scoop in the package. There is a "scratch" on the inside of the ceramic cover - it is rough and can injure the skin if you run your finger carelessly over it. Small details but probably says something about quality control. The steamer feels pretty light and cheap overall, not the quality we're used to - I'll use the popular and cheaper Instant Pot for comparison. I feel like I could easily dent a metal steamer if I'm not careful. I don't like the fact that the bottom pan isn't removable like many rice cookers, which makes cleaning a reward. I think it's overpriced. I'm not sure how long the product will last. Just take a look. However, it has a feature that others do not have. I made quail soup with dried mushrooms. It is easy to use, the soup turned out very beautiful and tasty, as expected. It's definitely better than steaming soup in containers and a large pot. It's a little difficult to get food out of the ceramic container. I will try to make some more soups and update the review. In short: the price is overpriced, but there is a unique selling point. If you love soup and cook it regularly, you might not mind paying for it as long as it lasts at least 3 years.
