I have a number of minor and minor issues with my feet and toes. I also go for walks a lot, go on short hikes and take dragon boat trips. At 85, foot problems are no surprise. As I say this, I'm fairly conscious of both the shoes I'm wearing and the socks I'm wearing. As we enter the cooler, wetter fall season here in Seattle. Proper socks are very important. I've only worn them a few times so it's probably too early to judge. But so far so good. I've worn them for easy hiking and also with water boots for paddling. Yes, they got a little wet while rowing, but my feet were dry and warm enough.
